SPECIAL CONGREGATIONAL MEETING - July 31, 2011
There will be a special Congregational Meeting to be held Sunday, July 31st, immediately following the 8:30am Worship Service. The sole purpose of the meeting is to vote on extending a call to Pastor P. Gary Burkhalter from Wellsburg, Iowa. If the vote passes, the call will be formally extended to Pastor Burkhalter.
We encourage you to attend this meeting and give this your prayerful consideration.

UPCOMING VBS REUNION DATE
The third VBS Reunion will be held Friday, August 19th, at 6:00pm at St. John’s North Lot. Hotdogs and S’mores provided. Yard games! Sack races, slipper kick, & egg toss are just a few of the fun games you can expect.
ST. JOHN’S CHURCH PICNIC & SUNDAY SCHOOL KICK-OFF
St. John’s Church Picnic & Sunday School Kick-Off will be held Sunday, August 28th! Outdoor Worship is at 10:00 am at the Danforth Park. Lunch will be at 11:45 am. Chicken, Drinks & Tableware provided. Please bring a dish to pass.

Silent Auction items are needed for the Church Picnic and Sunday School Kick-Off on Sunday, Aug. 28th. Profits from the Auction will go to Sunday School. These items can be dropped off at the Church Office. Thank you!

Farmers have the opportunity to give a gift of “Bushels of Grain” for St. John’s at area elevators. Simply let the Elevator operator know how many bushels you wish to give to the Church in thanksgiving to God. This has been set up at the following Elevators:
